Police were called to reports of an assault at the Shepherd and Dog pub in Shepherds Hill, Romford, shortly after 10.40pm on Friday.

Two men suffered cuts to their faces and stab wounds to the chest and were treated by paramedics before being taken to a hospital in east London.

Both men remain in hospital in a stable condition, a police spokesman said on Sunday morning.

Detectives investigating the assault have today released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

Same old story. Cowards carrying knifes maiming and killing people.  Government doing nothing. Only making empty promises while innocent lives are maimed on the streets of London everyday.
