The Borussia Dortmund star takes on a number of children in an
exhibition match, on his own, and is somehow able to retain possession
against his tiny opposition
Kagawa has produced a film entitled #ShinjiDream and a scene has now
come to light, showing the Japan international taking on an army of
small children in a seemingly unfair match.
However, as the
video below proves, pure skill can sometimes overcome the numbers' game,
as Kagawa bamboozles the children with his dribbling ability and fires
home in a showing of brutal efficiency.
Kagawa, understandably delighted, then celebrates scoring past a child in a manner not seen sinceMichael Owen's attempt at youth coaching.
It’s not the first time something like this has been tried. Kagawa himself and his international team-mate Hiroshi Kiyotake played against 55 children for a TV game showthree years ago, which probably inspired this latest effort.
The original, however, may be former Athletic Bilbao player Joseba
Exteberria’s testimonial in 2010, which saw 11 adult professionalstake on 200 players from the club’s youth system.
Watch and admire!
