Chelsea winger Pedro admits he has struggled to adapt to English football, but doesn't regret moving to Stamford Bridge.
Pedro was Chelsea's biggest signing of last summer when he joined from Barcelona for £21.4m.
But the Spain international has failed to impress having scored just three goals and created only two assists so far.
Chelsea fans have started to show signs of frustration over his
performances, but Pedro insists he is still trying to cope with the long
ball tactics used in English football.
He said: "I'm happy living here. It's a great city and a great League
to play in, although the Premier League is very different to La Liga.
"There are lots of differences, the main one being the type of game
that most teams play. In Spain it's more tactical and here it is much
more intense and competitive.
"In Spain, you always try to give the ball to someone in the middle of
the pitch and they take it from there to build up the play.
"But here, teams play longer passes to stretch the game. I'm slowly
adapting and we practice a lot in training, so I try to put what I learn
into my game during matches as well.
"I am getting used to it, getting used to the people and making friends, so it is going well."
Chelsea have won just one League game under new manager Guus Hiddink,
who replaced Jose Mourinho last month, and sit just four points above
the relegation zone.
