Tragedy: Armed Robbers Attack Enyimba Team-Bus In Okene

Armed men on Monday afternoon attacked the team bus of Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) champions Enyimba in Okene, Kogi State on their way to Kaduna for this year’s Super Four tournament.

The team lost its valuables to the robbers though no one was hurt in the raid. The attack was revealed via the team’s twitter account.

It stated as follows: “We can confirm that our team bus was attacked by armed robbers this afternoon in Okene, Kogi State on our way to Kaduna for the #SuperFour.”

“Thankfully, there were no injuries during this unfortunate incident. Players and officials were however stripped of all valuables,” the‎ statement further stated.
