Neymar met with Real Madrid in Zurich before the Ballon D’Or Gala [Al Primer Toque]

According to Spanish radio show Al Primer Toque (Onda Cero), Neymar met with Real Madrid officials in Zurich, in a secret meeting to discuss a potential transfer.

The alleged meeting took place at the Park Hyatt Hotel, on the Monday afternoon, just hours before the Ballon D’Or gala took place, in which Neymar finished 3rd, behind Ronaldo (2nd) and winner Leo Messi.

Al Primer Toque claim that Madrid requested the meeting, and that Neymar obliged, and attended along with his father, who also acts as his agent.

Currently in talks with Barcelona over extending his current deal, the Brazilian’s ‘entorno’ (people) are possibly using Madrid as a bargaining tool, in much the same way as Manchester United were in the last summer transfer window.

Even if that’s the case, it seems a risky move from Neymar, especially with Barcelona teammate Leo Messi also in Zurich for the gala.
