Porn babe 'attacked by hubby wrestler at knifepoint'

A wrestler has been charged with attacking his busty porn star wife at knifepoint over Christmas.

Dean Powell, 36, appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court accused of assaulting glamour babe Michelle Thorne and her dad Michael – as well as making threats to kill and possessing a blade.

He denied eight charges against him and will now face trial at a crown court.
Magistrates were told that Powell is alleged to have assaulted his wife when they attended a junior dance competition at a Kent hotel in November.

May Li, prosecuting, said he grabbed her around the neck and took her to a room - wrestling a concerned mum out of the way.
He is alleged to have assaulted her again in their home in Mangotsfield, Bristol, on December 29.

Michelle asked him to leave and during an argument he stamped on a PlayStation 3 game "several times" before making threats to kill while holding a knife - the court heard.

Michelle's dad Michael stepped in and put her hubby in a headlock.

But Powell head-butted and bit him causing a nose bleed. The wrestler then calmed down and made himself a cup of tea before police arrived.

Peter Lovegrove, defending, told magistrates: "The facts outlined are not accepted.
"He (Powell) has a substantial injury to his face which was caused when he was assaulted.
"I think the correct procedure is for the matter to be sent to the crown court."

The case has been adjourned until a hearing at Bristol Crown Court on January 28.
