Is this a bear or a dog? The internet freaks out over cute animal picture (Photo)

An animal that looks like a bear and a dog has left the internet baffled. Reddit user TheRedFoxx posted the image on Imgur with the caption: "Somebody brought this bear into doggie day care."

The picture shows the animal with characteristics of both a bear and a dog - boasting dark brown eyes, sharp teeth and a fluffy muzzle.

The image, which has been viewed more than a million times, has sparked a debate as to what kind of creature the animal actually is.

TheRedFoxx put them out of their misery and posted that the owners said it was a Pomeranian mix. He added: "But I assume that was code for "bear".

It turns out that the little cutie was brought into a dog daycare centre called The Dog Spot in West Nashville.

And owner Elizabeth Maguyon, from Georgia, confirmed to Buzzfeed that he’s a Pomeranian mix called Bounce.

So, the creature is most certainly a dog. Mystery solved.
