Transfer News------>Arsenal keen on Andriy Yarmolenko, James back on Man United radar

Arsenal have just signed one player, Mohamed Elneny, and are now interested in another according to Portuguese outlet A Bola.
That player in question is Ukraine winger Andriy Yarmolenko, who will cost around £20.5 million from Dynamo Kiev.

And it's not the first time in this transfer window that Manchester United have been linked with Real Madrid star James Rodriguez but things could now be getting more serious, the Sun reports.

It claims the Colombia star, who has struggled for playing time at the Bernabeu this season and been named in reports in Spain as a player who could be on his way as new manager Zinedine Zidane looks to reshuffle his squad, is again on the occasionally bored Louis van Gaal's radar.

United broke the British transfer record when they signed Angel Di Maria from Real (a move that, as it turned out, didn't work out so well) -- and they will have to shell out even more than the near £60m they paid for him if they are to land Rodriguez, the report says.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal left-back Ashley Cole is considering an offer from LA Galaxy, according to the Guardian.

The MLS side are "confident" of convincing the former England international to cancel his contract with Roma and follow the likes of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo to the U.S., with the Giallorossi reportedly "desperate" to be rid of the defender.
The Times reports that Man United want Tottenham's head of coaching and player development, John McDermott, to revamp their academy.

With United's current head of youth player recruitment, Derek Langley, set to depart due to reports of "disillusionment" at the current setup, it could be a busy summer behind the scenes at Old Trafford.

Wolfsburg defender Timm Klose is close to signing for Norwich City, according to kicker. Klose, 27, is reportedly set for a medical ahead of a £9.2m move and Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs said: "Yes, there is concrete interest."

Poor old Everton. As if having Manchester United, City and Chelsea sniffing around John Stones wasn't bad enough, now Barcelona are keen apparently.

With both Madrid clubs out of transfer action for a while, the Catalans are keen to snap up one of the best young defenders in world football while they can.
