Gwynant, now living in Manchester, had returned to West Wales for the weekend.
But he was left in agony after an assault described by police as “a vicious unprovoked attack”, reports Wales Online.

Speaking on Wednesday evening, four days after the incident, he said the pain had gone. It still feels a bit odd but it’s a matter of getting used to it now. There’s no point in sulking – it has happened.”And, after having his night out ruined, software engineer Gwynant said he had received a lot of support from family and friends, including messages from people he had not been in touch with for a long time".
