A 48-year-old man, John Kekeke, will spend some time in the Ikoyi Prison after he was remanded after he refused to pay three commercial sex workers at the end of a sex romp with them, the Nation reports.
Kekeke
was arrested by the police in Lagos on November 12, 2015, after the
commercial sex workers laid a complaint that he he refused to pay them
the agreed money after he slept with them at a brothel where they operate in the city.
Apart
from the money he had negotiated with the harlots, the suspect also
refused to pay for the drinks he consumed, worth N4,200, and all efforts
made by the management to collect the money failed.
When Kekeke was arraigned before Magistrate Nurudeen Layeni
of the Ebute Metta Chief Magistrate’s Court, on charges bordering on
breach of peace, he pleaded not guilty and he was granted bail in the
sum of N20,000 but was ordered to be remanded in prison custody pending
when he would perfect his bail.
The case was adjourned till December 19, for hearing.
