Seven workers with fake NYSC Certificates nabbed

Seven persons who have been working with fake NYSC Certificate of Exemption and Exclusion have been discovered by the National Youth Service Corp Secretariat Abuja Nigeria. .

According to reports, three out of the suspects who are currently working with some banks in Nigeria have disappeared into the thin air.

But the remaining four suspects were not lucky as they have been handed over to security agencies for prosecution according to Punch Newspapers.

The suspects who are Olatunbosun Abolarin, Yusuf Adekunle, Akan Macaulay and B. Abdullahi paid between  N25,000 (£83), and N60,000 (£198) to get the fake certificates.

The NYSC Director of Certification, Alhaji Hudu Aliyu Taura, the arrest was made possible through the cooperation of their employers, who requested the verification of their certificates.

Taura who confirmed that out of the certificates sent for verification by Guaranty Trust Bank, 17 were found to be fake. The owners were invited for to come with the original of the NYSC Certificate. We found out that the certificates were fake and got them arrested.
