Teenager questioned on suspicion of attempting to murder police officer

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on
suspicion of attempting to murder a policeman who was stabbed in the
stomach in East London.The Pc was
seriously injured in a car park while investigating reports of
anti-social behaviour near a block of flats in Bow, Tower Hamlets, on
Sunday night.

A knife was recovered and the teenage suspect has been taken to an east London police station for questioning.Scotland Yard said the male officer was taken to hospital with what was described as "a serious stab injury to the abdomen".
The force added that there is not believed to be any link to extremism or terrorism.Police were called at shortly before 11pm to reports of anti-social behaviour and a moped being ridden near to flats at Bunsen House, off Grove Road.Two officers arrived at the scene and, at around 11.30pm, a Pc was stabbed in a nearby car park.Police said the officer is in a "serious, but stable condition" in hospital.

This one again shows the danger lurking in the streets of London. It equally proves nobody is safe. If an armed police officer can be seriously injured in a knife attack then there is no hope for we unarmed citizens who are defenseless against these cowards who wield knife at every slightest provocation.
In the previous articles i have written here on my blog, i highlighted the dangers faced by the police, paramedics and even the fire crew members when dealing with antisocial behaviour, It can be recalled i said that paramedics have asked for stab vests.I wish the injured PC quick recovery.
Just last week, there was 3 stabbings within 7 hours in Essex. Government must act now. Those who carry knives should be treated as terrorists and not given minor sentence depending on the severity of the offence. The must be jailed without parole.
