Fabregas, 28, joined the Blues last summer from Spanish giants Barcelona for a fee of £32m.
The Spanish international's sensational move to Stamford Bridge shook the Premier League and riled up several Arsenal fans.
Angry Gooners branded the midfielder, who spent nine years at the Emirates, a traitor for joining Jose Mourinho's side and booed him during Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Blues back in April.
Fabregas, who has had a difficult start to the new season, is well aware of the uproar his move to west London has caused but has claimed he took the decision to join Jose Mourinho's side because he felt unwanted by Barcelona fans.
"I treated the people of Barcelona well," Fabregas told Marca.
"So I had to make a step aside."
