Class of '92-owned Salford City have sold a player to Manchester United.
Full-back
Sadiq El Fitouri, 20, has made the move back into the professional game
following his release from Manchester City, after impressing for
Salford on the local non-league scene.
Libya-born El Fitouri had
only made his debut for Salford a month previously and played the full
90 minutes in the match against Kendal Town for which Phil Neville and Paul Scholes took charge of the team.
El Fitouri will now join up with Warren Joyce and the Manchester United Under-21 squad, after signing an 18-month deal with the Red Devils.
Co-owner
Phil Neville says that he is delighted that the non-league club, who
are vying for promotion in the Evo-Stik Division One North, could give
the young lad a chance.
