Little Baby Girl Is left Stranded In Hospital After Hit and Run Accident

According to Daily Trust, a woman known as Mama Favour, a newspaper vendor was on Wednesday, while trying to cross the Abuja-Zuba expressway, crushed by a speeding car. She was carrying the baby on her back when the incident occurred.

An eyewitness, who faulted the deceased for not making use of the pedestrian bridge, said the baby was flung into a gutter by the roadside while the mother laid lifeless on the centre of the road. The baby is now receiving treatment at the paediatric unit of Kubwa General Hospital, Abuja.
