Boxer has joined the New South Wales Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit

Adorable little orphaned goat is adopted by a BOMB SQUAD and enjoys wandering around their office and sleeping under the desk.

An Australian police force’s most dangerous squad has goat itself a new recruit. The New South Wales Rescue and Bomb disposal unit (RBDU) adopted a four-week-old goat they named Boxer in a bid to cheer up an employee’s daughter, who is suffering serious spinal injury, reported the Daily Telegraph.

The little kid, who fought for his own life when being born, has now become a permanent addition to the task force office and has been seen wearing a ‘police rescue vest’ in pictures posted to the unit’s Facebook page.
The RBDU posted: ‘No kidding! Our newest RBDU mascot! RBDU operators looking after our latest addition to the team.’
‘Boxer the Boer Goat is being hand raised & fed after his mother unfortunately passing away,’ continued the post.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph squad’s commander Brenton Charlton, who helped deliver the goat, said the young barnyard animal ‘narrowly survived.’
‘We took his mum down to the vet and they performed an emergency C-section, but she died,’ said Commander Charlton.
Little Boxer was blue when he first came out, which led the squad commander to believe he was dead, luckily, ‘vets kept working on him and about 20 minutes later he woke up,’ he said.
Wandering around the Alexandria headquarters of the RBDU, little Boxer ‘sleeps under desks and wees everywhere,’ said Commander Charlton.
Although everyone at the squad loves the adorable member of their team, Boxer will eventually be deployed to the paddock when he is fully grown, reported the Daily Telegraph.
