A father of two stabbed his young children to death before trying to knife his wife as they slept in their family house in Podolsk, Moscow Oblast, Russia.
Dmitry Milovanov was reportedly high on drugs when he stabbed his sleeping nine-month-old daughter Xeniya, four-year-old son Ilya and wife Tatyana. The man was restrained by his nephew and neighbours who prevented Dmitry’s suicide and called the police.
The man is said to have been depressed over a $10, 000 of debt and inability to find work. While being interrogated, the man confessed to the murder he planned during a week: “I realized if I would kill myself and my whole family, it would only be for the best… I wanted to turn my children into angels.”
Mrs Milovanova survived the attack and is being treated in hospital, and police are still investigating the murders of the two children. The man had reportedly smoked spice, also known as synthetic marijuana, skunk and K2, before the gruesome attack.
The adverse effects of the smoking blend include high blood pressure, agitation, vomiting, hallucinations, psychoses, epileptic seizures, convulsions, panic attacks nausea, hallucination and heart attacks.
