Mariah Carey announces 2016 UK tour

Pop diva Mariah Carey is making a sensational return to the UK for the first time in 13 years.

The US superstar has announced she is to tour Britain in the spring – and promised fans an amazing spectacle.

The R&B singer, 45, will base the concerts on her Las Vegas residency shows – but bring a hometown flavour to each city she plays.

In a message to fans, the All I Want For Christmas Is You singer said: “It’s been too long!! “I’m so excited to be coming to Europe to perform for you all. promise we’re going to share the most amazing moments together and I have so many surprises in store for you daahhlings.”

The Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour will open in Glasgow on March 15 and take in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff.

Mariah will finish the stretch in London at the O2 Arena on March 23.
