Mum who cooked baby to death in MICROWAVE locked up for life

A wicked mum who killed her one-month-old baby by putting her in the MICROWAVE has been jailed for life.

Ka Yang cooked daughter Mirabelle Thao-Lo for 5 minutes leaving her with up to 80 per cent burns on her body and internal organs.

The tragic tot suffered a radiation burn which penetrated her internal organs and "COOKED THROUGH" to her stomach and small intestine.

She suffered severe pain during the ordeal at the family home in Sacremento, California - where cops found the infant's dummy inside the microwave.

Yang, 34, lost her temper after her daughter distracted her from work for an architectural company.

But she claimed was having an epileptic seizure when she put her daughter inside the oven on March 17, 2011.

She initially told detectives that she had been holding the child when she blacked out while working at a computer.

Yang later confessed to lying, blaming the deceit on a split personalitty. Jurors found her guilty of first degree murder and assault following a trial in the US.

Yang, who has three other kids, was sentenced to a minimum of 26 years behind bars.
