Jose Mourinho leaving Chelsea has improved atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, says John Obi Mike

The Portuguese boss was sacked earlier this month with the team struggling in the bottom half and it could prove to be a wise decision

John Obi Mikel has revealed that there is a new buzz in the Chelsea ranks after Jose Mourinho's sacking.

The arrival of Guus Hiddink , who takes the post until the end of the season, has helped the atmosphere improve at Stamford Bridge.
But while Mikel believes results are set to change at Chelsea, he still has the utmost respect for his former boss Mourinho.
“We’ve moved on and the atmosphere has improved since the change of manager. It’s fine now, we’ve just not been getting results.
“Jose is a fantastic manager and will always be a fantastic guy. But sometimes football is a cruel game and you have to move on."
