Triple H reveals he supports West Ham, Andy Carroll responds by challenging him to a tag team match with UFC champion Conor McGregor

The WWE legend, Triple H, has revealed that he supports West Ham.

The 13-time world heavyweight champion, who now works as the Executive Vice President of WWE, with a particular focus on their fledgling NXT brand, says that the Hammers most replicate what he is trying to achieve with NXT.
In an interview with ITV, Triple H said: "West Ham is probably the closest to what we do, with the passion of their fanbase and their loyalty, right? That's the closest to what we do."
And of all the current Premier League players, the 46-year-old has said that the Hammers' striker Andy Carroll could become a WWE superstar, because of his "long hair".

"Maybe a player like Andy Carroll!" he said. "He is tall, likes to play it tough with the opposition and has the right looks with the long hair. He could be interesting!"

Caroll has since responded to Triple H's claim, joking writing on Twitter: "No fake punches I'll drop you!! @TripleH #TheRealPedigree", and then highlighting the fact that Triple H no longer has his long hair, writing:

"You've shaved your powers away #Samson!!" after Triple H, whose finishing move was the Pedigree, replied to his tweet.

The England international then challenged Triple H and Sheamus to a tag team match, and Carroll's partner - UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
