The England-based duo of John Obi Mikel and Kelechi Iheanacho are among the latest arrivals at the Super Eagles camp in Abuja.
The Eagles, who are camped at the Bolton White Apartments, have a two-legged fixture against Swaziland as they begin their quest for qualification for the next FIFA Senior World Cup to be hosted by Russia.
According to a tweet via the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles on Tuesday morning, only 13 of the invited 24 players are in the camp as at 7 a.m.
Those confirmed to be in the country are Mikel Obi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Elderson Echiejile, Carl Ikeme, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Dele Alampasu, Austin Obaroakpo, Ezekiel Bassey, Kalu Orji ,Chima Akas, Odion Ighalo, Paul Onobi, and Jamiu Alimi.
With the increased numbers, the Eagles are expected to have their first serious training session by 4 p.m today.
For now, it is not sure if the Eagles would be using the main bowl of the national stadium in Abuja for training or they will be shifting base to the FIFA Goals Project Pitch.
The Eagles will be playing against Swaziland on an artificial turf on Friday before returning home for the second leg in Port Harcourt next Tuesday.
