Arsenal fan Ernie Crouch dies after being blown into a bus on his way to match

Ernie Crouch, 90, died when a gust of wind crashed him against the side of a bus during stormy weather in north London on Saturday.

The devoted Arsenal fan was travelling to the Emirates Stadium to watch his side's match with Sunderland when the accident happened in Finchley.
Arsenal's official Twitter account posted: "Everyone at Arsenal Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong fan Ernie Crouch.

Fans today paid tribute to the pensioner, who was described as a "fantastic, loyal supporter".

According to tribute posted by Piers Morgan his official twitter account, he confirmed that the late Ernie supported Arsenal for 80 years.
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan called for players to wear black armbands during their next game in recognition of Mr Crouch's devotion to the club.
