Four teenagers stabbed in Clydebank in an unprovoked attack (Knife Crime 17)

ALL four youngsters are in hospital and two of them have been left with life-threatening injuries in an attack that police are treating as attempted murder.The incident happened at about 1.30am on Saturday when an 18-year-old male and three boys aged 15 were "intentionally targeted" by another group of men in a lane running from Great Western Road towards the Auchentoshan Estate in Clydebank. 

Police Scotland confirmed that all four youngsters were stabbed and taken to hospital, with two of the 15-year-olds suffering life threatening injuries. The 18-year-old and other 15 year-old boy were released following treatment.

 Detective Sergeant Darren Munogee said: "This type of violence will not be tolerated on our streets and I would offer reassurance to the public that we are doing all we can to trace the people responsible. Although the exact motive is still to be ascertained, we believe that the victims were intentionally targeted.
