Authorities say a man fatally shot his partner and their two children
before setting their New Jersey shore house on fire and killing
himself.
Monmouth County's acting prosecutor said Thursday
investigators have determined 35-year-old Lyndon Beharry killed
29-year-old Amanda Morris and their two sons, 7-year-old Brandon Beharry
and 4-year-old Brian Beharry, before shooting himself in their Long
Branch home on Sept. 1.
Autopsies determined Amanda Morris and Brandon
Beharry were killed by smoke inhalation and thermal injuries with
gunshot wounds being a contributing factor.
Brian Beharry's cause of
death was determined to be gunshot wounds to the torso with smoke
inhalation and thermal injuries contributing to his cause of death.
Lyndon Beharry was a 16-year employee of the Long Branch Public Works Department.
