How we rob ATM users – Robbery suspect

A 25-year old armed robbery suspect has told operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command how his gang robbed about 35 Automated Teller Machine users in Alaba Rago Market, Ojo area of Lagos., the police said.

Gbenga Babatunde, who was arrested after a failed bid to rob a lady who withdrew an unspecified amount of money around 5:48 a.m. at an ATM point in Alaba Rago Market, was chased by the operatives patrolling the area.

India busts Uchenna, a Nigerian heroine dealer

India’s Delhi Police Crime Branch claimed to have busted in two incidents,  two drug trafficking modules with the arrest of three drug traffickers, including a Nigerian.

The accused were identified as Uchenna (28), from Nigeria,  Indian Ajay (33) and his associate Naresh Kumar (39), from Mohan Garden in west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar.

It took 11 Indian policemen to subdue and arrest a Nigerian drug pusher near a garden at MiniSeashore in Mumbai, in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Nigerian salesman is jailed for 10 years for raping a British teacher on New Year's day

A British teacher was raped in her flat in Dubai in the early hours of New Year's Day after returning home from a party the worse the wear for drink.

The woman returned home tipsy to her flat near the Silicon Oasis (pictured) from a New Year's Eve party.

This week a 30-year-old Nigerian salesman was jailed for 10 years by a court in the United Arab Emirates. Under local laws he was not identified.

Nigerian pastor jailed for £4.1m fraud in UK

A Nigerian accountant and part-time pastor in the United Kingdom, Sam Kayode, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for stealing £4.1m.

Kayode was sentenced on Friday by Woolwich Crown Court in South London for defrauding Haberdashers’ Aske’s state schools in the UK.

Online Scam -11 Nigerians Discovered in Home

An online scam which robbed over $23,000 from a victim in Kentucky has led to a man in Prince Georges County. When a search warrant was executed Wednesday, 11 individuals from Nigeria were identified inside the residence.

Justice Chikod Ezuokeaba, age 28, was arrested in connection with an online scam.

In February, 2016, the Maryland State Police, Criminal Enforcement Division-Central South Region, was contacted by investigators from the Lexington Kentucky Police Department, Bureau of Investigation-Financial Crimes Unit, regarding a bank fraud scheme.

A Nigerian and a Slovakian arrested in Rome with cocaine in socks

A Nigerian and a Slovak using Dubai airport as transit point have been arrested at Rome’s Fiumicino airport for trying to smuggle cocaine into Italy.

The 19-year-old Slovak was caught with two kilos (4.4 pounds) of cocaine stashed in a false bottom of his suitcase. He had departed from Rio de Janeiro and had a flight transfer in Dubai.

A 32-year-old South African woman has been arrested by police officers at the OR Tambo International Airport South Africa.  

She arrived from Dubai and was arrested for trafficking of cocaine weighing 5‚7 kilogrammes and valued at R1‚6 million‚ the South African Police Service said on Monday.

Nigerian arrested in drug racket in India and Cyprus

The Cyberabad police on Wednesday arrested two persons including a Nigerian national and seized 44 grams of the narcotic drug mephedrone.

Acting on a tip-off, the special operation team nabbed Chimaosi Simon Chukwu, a Nigerian national, and Manish Kumar Goel at Sun City on the outskirts. Simon was living in India since 2013 and supplying drugs to the clients in Goa, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and other cities, police said.
