19-year-old Ruben Loftus Cheek is expected to break into Jose Mourinho's
plans this season after making his debut at the tail end of the last
campaign but has found playing time limited.
He
has played only 62 minutes of Premier League football so far this term
as well as one appearance in both the Capital One Cup and Champions
League.
Loftus-Cheek has not featured since the win over Aston Villa on October 17 and The Times
report he is exploring the possibility of a loan move after Mourinho
backtracked on a promise to give him a lengthy run in the side after the
defeat to Southampton last month.
The England
Under-21 international is attracting interest from clubs in the Premier
League, Championship and on the continent but it remains to be seen
whether Mourinho will allow him to leave Stamford Bridge.
"And I think the best way for him to improve is to be working with us every day, even if he doesn't play much.
"In this moment, he is far from being in condition to play for us."
Should Loftus-Cheek be allowed to leave temporarily, he would add to the 33 Chelsea players currently out on loan.
Manchester United are favourites to sign Chelsea's 19-year-old wonderkid Charly Musonda, according to reports.
Foot Mercato reports the Chelsea youngster is getting frustrated with his lack of playing time at Stamford Bridge and is looking to go elsewhere.
