Hilarious Photo- New Dad Snaps Selfie With Wife While She's Giving Birth

According to US Magazine, proud new dad Gil Solano made waves on the Internet on Monday, Nov. 9, after he shared a photo on Imgur of himself next to his wife as she was giving birth to their daughter.

“My wife wanted to make sure that someone took a picture of the expression on our faces when our daughter was born today,” he captioned the image. “So I took one.”

In the viral photo, Solano looks ecstatic with a huge grin on his face as his wife, Sarah, clearly looks like she’s in pain as she is in the midst of labor.

He also shared the photo on Reddit, where several commenters noted how inconsiderate it was of the new dad to be taking a photo during such a private and likely painful moment. Solano responded that Sarah was not only okay with the photo, but found it funny.

Very funny. If she was okay with it, who cares what others say.
