A man got
so drunk that he mistook a small hill alongside a busy street for his
bedroom and went to sleep - and asked a passerby to 'shut the window' as
he was cold.

Lewis
Sharp, 24, was returning home after seeing some friends in York city
centre on Tuesday night when he spotted the man, who he believes was a
student, laying on the grassy verge.
As
he went over to check on the man, he was briefly roused from his
slumber and asked Lewis to 'shut my window for me, it's freezing in
here'.
Mr Sharp put
a photo of the man sleeping online and it has since been liked and
shared more than 16,000 times - and also prompted another passerby to
put up a picture of the same man still sleeping in that spot.
Mr
Sharp, a civil servant, said: 'I was returning home from seeing a
couple of friends when I spotted a pair of legs hanging off the side.
'I realised it was a man lay there and went over to check he was still alive as he wasn't moving at all.
'I
managed to rouse him and tried to speak to him to see if he was okay
and get him on his way home but he wasn't having any of it.
'I
was then stunned when he asked me to close the window because he was
too cold. I couldn't believe it - he was clearly so drunk that he had no
idea where he was. He was absolutely convinced it was his bedroom.
