Floyd Mayweather Jnr gets two-month old tiger as a Christmas present

Floyd Mayweather has successfully fought off a number of southpaw opponents over the years but this is taking things to another level.

The current holder of the WBA, WBC and WBO welterweight titles, who announced his retirement after beating Andre Berto in September to take his record to 49-0, has been pictured holding a tiger on a lead.

The undefeated fighter regularly flaunted his lavish lifestyle during his career, which earned him around £462million from fights alone, and he is showing no signs of abating now it is over.

The 38-year-old was pictured sat on the top of a marble staircase with the young tiger laying down next to him attached to a leash.

The big cat had been given to Mayweather as a present and he invited his fans to suggest names for his pet.

'I want to thank my family @themoneyteamrussia here in Moscow, Russia for the hospitality & my early Christmas present, a rare & exotic tiger from India. Any suggestions for a name for this two-month old, female tiger?

Mayweather has followed in the footsteps of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, who also famously owned a tiger.
