UEFA Champions League Semi-final and final draws, Nyon, Switzerland

Four excellent teams have made it to the penultimate stage of the competition after some thrilling quarter-final games over the last couple of weeks.
The excitement is growing as we get closer to the final which takes place on 28 May.

First Semi Finals: Manchester City VS Real Madrid FC (26-04-2016)
Key Stats
City and Madrid's only previous meeting came in the 2012/13 group stage, the Merengues winning 3-2 at home on matchday one before a 1-1 draw in Manchester two months later.
Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last eight games against English clubs, and have won their last three such matches.
Manchester City have already beaten Spanish opposition this season, defeating Sevilla 2-1 (home) and 3-1 (away) in the group stage.
Zinédine Zidane is looking to lead Madrid to an 11th European Cup and the Merengues, in their sixth straight semi-final, will be content to face last-four debutants Manchester City.
This is City’s first European semi-final since 1971 and they will start as underdogs. Yet when their attacking players raise their game, they have a chance against any team.
Real Madrid were knocked out by Lyon in the round of 16 in Manuel Pellegrini's sole season in charge of the club.

Key Stats Second Semi Finals: Atheletico Madrid Vs FC Bayern Munchen (27-04-2016)
Atlético v Bayern - a repeat of the 1974 final. Bayern and Atlético's only previous meeting came in the 1974 final, the Bundesliga side running out 4-0 winners in the replay following an initial 1-1 draw. Atlético have lost just one of their last seven games against German clubs. See highlights below

Finals: Winner of Semi Finals 1 VS Winner of Semi Finals 2 (28-05-2016)
