Aston Villa have offered David Moyes a huge transfer kitty if he becomes their next manager, reports say.
The Villans were relegated this weekend after defeat to Manchester United to bring the end to a miserable season.
And they have made the former Everton and United manager their top target as they look for a return to the Premier League, according to Metro UK.
The new-look board are ready to hand the job to an experienced
manager after experiments with Tim Sherwood and Remi Garde backfired
spectacularly.
Despite holding an interest in the post, Moyes wants to weigh up his options before committing to the West Midlands outfit.
That could force Villa to turn to Mick McCarthy or Nigel Pearson as they look to get an appointment sorted quickly.
