Female top gun pilots are set to spearhead the bombing of Islamic State's Syrian heartland.
The 'air angels' will deliver the ultimate
humiliation to jihadists who fear they will not go to heaven if they are
killed by women.
At least two are understood to
be among the RAF team which began blitzing Isis-controlled oil wells
just 57 minutes after MPs voted to extend UK attacks on the terrorists
from Iraq to neighbouring Syria on Wednesday night.
Seven
precision-guided 500lb Paveway IV bombs were dropped on six targets
around the Omar oilfields in eastern Syria by GR4 Tornados from RAF
Akrotiri in Cyprus supported by a Voyager air refueling tanker and
Reaper drone.
It was the first of a series of
airstrikes aimed at cutting off £320m in oil revenue the terror network
relies on to fund atrocities around the world.
Sources said ground crew chalked the words 'For Paris' onto the payload of bombs before the jets set off.
