The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge beat the Obamas, Gates and Kardashian-Wests to top of the list of influenceThe Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been named as the world’s most influential couple.
William and Kate beat superstars like Microsoft’s Bill Gates and his Melinda, US president Barack Obama and Michelle, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
David and Victoria Beckham were the second-placed “power couple”, closely followed by the Queen and Prince Philip , in a poll of 2,000 Brits. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came fourth and the Obamas fifth.
Behavioural psychologist and relationship coach Jo Hemmings said: “Power couples need to be strong for each other in good times and bad.”
