Jose Mourinho labelled "la disgrace" by L'Equipe as pressure builds on Chelsea boss

The Portuguese boss has an FA charge hanging over his head and is facing a must-win match against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool on Saturday

Jose Mourinho has been labelled as "la disgrace" by French newspaper L'Equipe, in an astonishing attack on his behaviour.

The under-fire Chelsea boss is under pressure at Stamford Bridge, following a poor start to the season which has left the Blues 15th in the Premier League.
They were also dumped out of the League Cup by Stoke City on Tuesday evening, three days after the 2-1 defeat to West Ham, where Mourinho was sent to the stands by referee Jon Moss.
Mourinho's dismissal was just the latest incident to punctuate a fractious season; his battles with the Football Association continue, while the spectre of the Eva Carneiro shambles continues to loom large
Mourinho has been linked with a move to Paris for next season. PSG are reportedly eyeing the Portuguese as a potential replacement for Laurent Blanc, should the French coach leave the Parc des Princes at the end of his current deal.
However, such is the ferocity of L'Equipe's attack, the 52-year-old is unlikely to be welcomed with open arms.
They declare the Chelsea coach is emblematic of the club's "disastrous" start to the season, both with the side's sporting woes and his "untimely statements", and state that he is "losing his fluid" and has seen his mask fall off.
He's accused of acting too slowly in the transfer market, leaving the club with players out-of-form - such as Diego Costa, Nemanja Matic and Branislav Ivanovic - but without adequate cover.
L'Equipe also points to the "wars" Mourinho has waged on numerous fronts, namely those involving Carneiro, referee Moss, his ongoing conflict with the FA and his continuing attacks on Arsene Wenger.
Additionally, he's also criticised for his Chelsea contract, with the paper stating that if Roman Abramovich does see fit to sack his manager, it will cost him €50million (£36million) - as Darren Lewis previously revealed.
Nevertheless, it's stated that with just one win from four in the Premier League, success in Saturday's clash with Liverpool is a must - or else Mourinho faces the sack.
