Australia's second-largest airline, and the largest (by fleet number) in the Virgin family, Virgin Australia serves 29 cities in Oz, and has hubs in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. Its high rating is due, in large part, to its impeccable customer service. In August of 2015, Virgin Australia debuted its all-new Airbus A330 business class, which has been a big hit with travelers.

It’s no secret that El Al has gourmet-level kosher meals. But food preferences aside, there are plenty of great reasons to fly El Al, including an iPad rental program, an app that allows you to choose in-flight entertainment options ahead of time, and a range of Israeli wines that will put the Manischewitz to shame.

This airline boasts extra roomy seats (even in coach), a menu designed by noteworthy Swiss chefs, and attendants who speak multiple languages. Most impressive is the crew's appreciation for cleanliness: The cabins and bathrooms are consistently impeccable.

Customers rave about Turkish Airlines’ excellent food, generous legroom, and friendly staff. The Asian airline is adding flights to Miami shortly and it will expand to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International, one of the world’s busiest airport, in May. Even if you’re not planning a trip to Turkey, the airline has connections through Istanbul to 228 cities nonstop.
15. Qanats [75.799]
Qantas, the flag-carrier airline of Australia, serves 20 domestic destinations and 21 international destinations in 14 countries across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Fliers love the high-quality food and beverages served in all cabins. The crews are friendly and helpful. On the news front, Qantas will resume direct service from Sydney to San Francisco six days a week, starting December 20, 2015. For the roughly 14-hour nonstop flight, Qantas will use a Boeing 747-400 with on-demand in-flight entertainment in all classes.

Fans of Asiana Airlines wish that all flights were run by this Seoul-based carrier. Asiana is beloved for its consistently good in food service and well-trained, courteous flight attendants. On a long-haul flight, their lie-flat seats in the first-class cabin are exceptionally comfortable.

EVA Air is a Taiwan–based carrier that serves Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. It’s a winner due to its outstanding service and well-trained crew, who meet requests with smiles. The food and beverage service is top-notch, and the legroom—even in coach—is generous.

This airline embraces its country's "Land of a Thousand Smiles" adage. Friendly flight attendants offer fresh orange juice, a rotating assortment of delicious snacks, and hot towels—even on 30-minute domestic trips.

ANA (All Nippon Airways) is known for its impeccable service, fantastic food (first-class passengers can dig into a kaiseki feast—a traditional Japanese multi-course dinner—while watching a movie on their own 23-inch LCD monitor. ANA also has a fun, pop-culture spirit that reflects its modern Japanese culture: This summer, the airline launched a partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm that led to an R2-D2-themed paint job for its brand-new Dreamliners.

A 16-hour flight, no matter how luxurious the plane, is enough to strike fear in the hearts of even the most intrepid travelers. A regional airline serving Canada and the United States, Porter Airlines is based at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and works as a reliable city shuttle between diverse destinations like Boston, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach. Its planes are all Canadian-built Bombardier Dash-8 Q 400 turboprop aircraft. Customers rave about the airline's free Wi-Fi; refreshments, like soda, juice, and snacks; and they offer a complimentary glass of wine, even on short flights. Wonderful customer service is what keeps fliers coming back.
