Photos and Video ----- Storm Doris causes Chaos in the UK. Leaves one dead and many injured

The day started with the gust of about 75mph. In my area it was like something from a horror movie. The trees bowed to the might gust of storm Doris. The windows in my house were whistling and it was very cold outside
In Wolverhampton City centre, it was a bad day for a woman who on lunch break was having coffee outside Startbucks in the city center when she was left with a serious head injury after she was hit by a wood which was about the size of a coffee table just before midday
Thousands where left stranded in London after dozens of flights and trains were cancelled. A double decker bus as reported on the news left 5 people injured after it overturned in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire.
A man was seriously injured at Vitoria station in London after he was hit by debris from a roof. He was rushed to the hospital by London ambulance "as a priority" after he was treated at the scene for head injury.
It was not agood day for Iceland Air flight #FI440 after it decleared fuel emergency due to it inability to land at both Manchester and Liverpool airports due to strong battering winds of 100mph.

Train services operated by CrossCountry cancelled services between Birmingham and Newcastle, while Virgin East Coast advised passengers to travel before 2pm on Friday instead.Trains were also cancelled on the TransPenine between York and Newcastle.

It was also reported that services were also severely disrupted in the south, with Southern Rail running only one train from London to Brighton per hour today.

More than 50 British Airways flights were grounded including internal journeys and journeys to Europe.Aer Lingus cancelled 12 flights between the UK and the Republic of Ireland in anticipation of the winds.
On my way home from the gym in borehamwood, it was not a fairy tale as the wind sweot me off my feet and pushed me towards a car. I was lucky. A woman was not so lucky as she was left disillusioned after gust swept her off her feet and she hit her head on the street light as seen on the video below somehwere in London

No serious damage  and injuries reported in my area as at the time of writing this. it is now quiet over hear but not sure how it is in the other parts of the UK
