Metropolitan Police release two photos in stabbing appeal (Kinfe Crime 25)

Police have released photos of two men they want to speak to about a double stabbing in Finsbury Park.

The attack, described by detectives as "very violent", happened at around 7.50pm on Christmas Eve.

The incident began in Green Lanes, near Manor House tube station, moved into Hermitage Road, and ended up in Vale Grove. A 65-year-old father and his 37-year-old son were stabbed multiple times

Both were seriously injured and required hospital treatment and have now been discharged.
Detectives are releasing a photo of Kyroe Oscar Howsen, 24, who is from the Haringey area, who they wish to speak to in connection with the incident, and are appealing for anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them.
They are also releasing a CCTV image of man they are appealing to indentify and trace to also speak to in connection with the incident.
"This was a very violent attack and the injuries were serious and could easily have been fatal. The elder victim had just arrived in the county to spend Christmas with his family; instead he and his son had to be rushed to hospital. We urgently want to find the persons responsible and I would urge the public to contact police if they have any information."
