Real Madrid want Manchester United to spend £40.5million on the transfer
of Toni Kroos so they can use the funds to sign Arsenal target Edinson
Cavani.
The La Liga side are concerned that their transfer ban will leave them short in the striking department.
Real president Florentino Perez wants to sign the Paris Saint-Germain striker but needs to raise funds to do so.
And he is willing to let United buy Kroos to fund a deal, according to A Bola. Madrid are thought to want to push through these moves in January in
case their ban is not overturned or delayed and they are unable to buy
Cavani in the summer.
The Uruguayan striker is widely expected to leave PSG after becoming increasingly frustrated with life in the French capital.
Arsenal were believed to be interested in a move for him but face serious competition from Europe’s top clubs.
