Militants set off a car bomb at the entrance to the Jawaher
shopping centre - which is situated in a mainly Shiite area in the east
of the Iraqi capital - before moving in.
State television said the security services were surrounding the site of a "terrorist attack" and unconfirmed reports suggest the attackers are wearing suicide vests.

No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack but
so-called Islamic State often targets the country's Shiite population.
