Footage shows the horrifying moment when a doctor knocked out a patient and he falls and dies (Viewers Discretion advised)

Horrifying footage shows a doctor attacking a patient, punching him so hard in the head he falls to the ground and dies.

Police in Russia have launched a criminal probe after the incident, which was captured in full on CCTV.

The doctor is seen rushing into an examination and grabbing a shirtless man. He is heard asking him "Why did you touch my nurse?" after the patient was alleged to have lashed out during a procedure.

The medic then lands a blow to the patient's head and he falls backwards through a door.
After grappling with another man, the doctor realises the patient is out cold and begins carrying out CPR on him.

He was later declared dead. According to officials, the incident took place on 29 December 2015 in a hospital in Belgorod, 350 miles southwest of the Russian capital Moscow.
