The spouse of the Nigerian football who was kidnapped last week has regained her freedom from unknown armed men.
Memunat Ogude, wife of Amkar Perm player Fegor Ogude, who was
kidnapped in Warri last week Monday, has been released by her abductors.
She was reported to have gone out with her children but was declared
missing by her husband after he got a call from the police that his car
had been found in another town without his wife in it.
A tweet by U23 national team media officer Timi Ebikagboro confirmed the release on Sunday night.
In recent years, Nigerian footballers have come under attack of
kidnappers.
Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel's father was kidnapped as
well as midfielder Christian Obodo. Both of them regained their freedoms,
